Refund and Returns Policy

At TH Detector, we are committed to providing reliable metal detecting equipment that meets the specifications and quality standards described on our website.

Except where required by applicable consumer protection laws, we do not accept returns or exchanges for personal reasons.

Returns are accepted only when:

  • The product has a confirmed quality defect.
  • The product has been damaged during shipping.
  • The product received is different from the product ordered.

1. Returns for Defective Products

If you receive a product with any of the following issues, please contact us as soon as possible:

  • The product has a manufacturing defect.
  • The product does not function properly under normal use.
  • The product received is different from the model ordered.
  • The product has been visibly damaged during shipping.

When contacting us, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Product model
  • A description of the problem
  • Clear photos or videos showing the issue
  • Product serial number or other identifying information, where applicable

Please do not return any product before receiving authorization and return instructions from TH Detector.

After reviewing the information provided, we may request additional photos, videos, troubleshooting information, or other evidence to verify the issue.

If the issue is confirmed, TH Detector will provide an appropriate solution depending on the circumstances, which may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement parts
  • Product replacement
  • Refund, where appropriate

If a return is required, we will provide the correct return instructions and return address.

2. Returns for Personal Reasons

Except where required by applicable law, TH Detector does not accept returns for personal reasons.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • The customer changes their mind.
  • The customer ordered the wrong model.
  • The customer no longer needs the product.
  • The customer’s personal preference changes.
  • The customer did not fully review the product specifications before purchasing.
  • The product functions as described but does not meet the customer’s personal expectations.
  • Performance differences are caused by the customer’s operating environment or usage conditions rather than a product defect.

We strongly recommend carefully reviewing the product model, specifications, functions, and intended applications before placing an order.

3. Exchange Policy

Except where required by applicable law, TH Detector does not accept exchanges for personal reasons.

If a product has a confirmed quality defect, we will determine the most appropriate solution according to the circumstances.

This may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement parts
  • Product replacement
  • Another reasonable remedy

4. Situations Not Considered Product Defects

The following situations are generally not considered manufacturing or product quality defects:

  • Damage caused by improper operation or misuse
  • Damage caused by dropping, impact, crushing, water exposure, or accidents
  • Failure to follow the product instructions or operating manual
  • Unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification
  • Use of incompatible accessories, power supplies, or components
  • Performance differences caused by soil conditions, mineralization, electromagnetic interference, environmental conditions, or other external factors
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage to consumable or replaceable parts caused by normal use
  • Removal, alteration, or damage to the product serial number or identification label

5. Refunds

If TH Detector confirms that a product has a genuine quality defect that cannot reasonably be resolved through repair, replacement parts, or product replacement, we may issue a refund.

Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days.

Whenever possible, the refund will be issued through the original payment method.

Please note that your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to process and display the refund.

6. Return Shipping

All returns must be authorized by TH Detector in advance.

Do not send products to an address found online, on a previous shipment, or from any other source unless the return address has been specifically confirmed by TH Detector.

For confirmed product quality issues, we will provide return shipping instructions and determine the appropriate handling of reasonable return shipping costs according to the circumstances and applicable law.

Returned products must be securely packaged.

For international returns, we recommend using a shipping service that provides tracking information.

TH Detector is not responsible for returned products that are lost because they were sent to an incorrect address or shipped without an appropriate tracking service.

7. Customs Duties, Import Taxes and Clearance Fees

International orders may be subject to charges imposed by the destination country or region, including:

  • Customs duties
  • Value-added tax (VAT)
  • Sales tax
  • Customs clearance fees

TH Detector does not control these charges and cannot guarantee the amount that may be charged by local customs authorities.

Customers are responsible for understanding the import regulations, customs requirements, taxes, and fees applicable in their country or region before placing an order.

If a customer:

  • Refuses delivery
  • Refuses to pay applicable customs duties or taxes
  • Fails to complete required customs clearance procedures

any resulting return shipping costs, storage fees, customs charges, disposal fees, or other expenses may be the responsibility of the customer, subject to applicable law.

8. Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

If the order has not yet been shipped, we will make reasonable efforts to cancel it.

Once an order has been shipped, cancellation cannot be guaranteed. The order will then be handled according to this policy and applicable law.

9. Consumer Rights and Applicable Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, limit, or restrict any rights that consumers may have under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in their country or region.

If any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory applicable law, the applicable legal requirement will take precedence.
